Toya for Tots Daycare News: December 2024

Updated: Jan 6

Welcome to our Parents Newsletter!

Daycare News: Ready or not, the Christmas season is upon us once again. In the hustle and bustle, let us not forget the reason for our celebration—Jesus' Birth!!! Please take a moment to appreciate the good things and what his birth means to you personally. I wish you a warm gathering, great memories, good food, and safe holidays. Parents, during the break, your continued involvement in your child's development is crucial. Please work with your child on potty training, letters, numbers, shapes, colors, and self-help skills like pulling their pants up and down, taking socks and shoes on and off, etc. Your active participation is not just meaningful; it's imperative. When we return, the children will be working on recognizing the letters in their names, basic handwriting skills, and managing their feelings with Tucker the Turtle. These skills are beneficial for young toddlers as they prepare for school. More information about Tucker and self-regulation skills will be provided after the break. As always, let's continue to work together and have a wonderful holiday.
